Nissan continues to popularize its Leaf electric car ... This time the Japanese invited the artist and asked him to paintportraitcar with glowing phosphor-based paints. Everything worked out.
This is evidenced by a new entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
As a rule, toy cars with radio control are chosen for such drawing. Nissan decided not to look for easy ways and provided the full-size Leaf electric car. The artist Ian Cook from Po35bangcolour, armed with everything necessary, coped with the task and presented the canvas withportraitcar.
The work took 61 hours and 60 liters of glowing paint.
The area of the painting is 207.68 square meters. The previous record, recorded by the Guinness Book of Records committee, was set in January 2021 - 164.6 square meters. Ian Cook says it was a very difficult job, but the result was goodfantastic.
. The tool used by the artist - a glow-in-the-dark Nissan Leaf (a luminescent coating is available for an electric car as an option) - Cook called the most unusual in his practice.
The Nissan Leaf is equipped with a 109-horsepower electric motor and an automatic transmission. The power reserve is about 200 kilometers. The maximum speed is 144 km / h.
Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 11.5 seconds for an electric car.
As a reminder, in January 2021 it became known that Nissan Leaf set a sales record. In 2021, 33% more electric cars were sold than the year before. The second place was taken by Renault Zoe, the third - by Tesla Model S.
