- Jaguar will unveil the official car for the record high-speed race

Jaguar has unveiled a special version of the F-Ty30e R AWD Bloodhound SSC RRV coupe in livery of the British Land S34eed Record Team, which plans to set a land speed record.
Jaguar is one of the technical partners of the ambitious team that expects to set a new world speed record at 1,227.986 kilometers per hour. Naturally, this will not be done behind the wheel of a powerful and stylish coupe, but with the help of the Bloodhound SSC - a cross between an airplane and a car. But the F-Ty48e R AWD with the hard-to-pronounce Bloodhound SSC RRV attachment will become a support car.

A four-wheel drive vehicle with a five-liter V8 550 horsepower, refined by the SVO (Special Vehicle Operation) factory team and received an exclusive livery in the style of the record-breaking Bloodhound SSC car. However, the Jaguar coupe is not only an expensive traveling car, but also a kind of test bench.
In order to test the communication equipment for the Bloodhound SSC, it was installed on board the F-Type R AWD Bloodhound SSC RRV. The car at a maximum speed of 275 kilometers per hour was moving towards a fighter flying at an ultra-low altitude at a speed of 926 km / h. The achieved total speed of 1201 kilometers per hour made it possible to evaluate the operation of the communication system in a mode as close as possible to "combat".
